Perfect Work Day

Day 3 prompt: Perfect Work Day

never-stop-learningDescribe what your perfect work day entails, from when you wake up to when you go to sleep. Your work can be what you’re doing now, or a different path – whatever feels more “perfect”. Engage and describe all the senses and emotions.

A perfect work day for me, right now is all about getting things done. I currently work as a web design and development teacher. So right now it’s all about solving web problems. Researching, learning, growing wise in code, helping others grow wiser in code. There’s grading assignments to be done, there’s communicating with students, preparing lectures, etc. I really enjoy learning more and being able to pass that knowledge on.

Same is true of my spiritual side. I enjoy learning more, growing wiser within myself, contemplating the mysteries, solving problems within my own life, gaining new perspectives, and passing that knowledge on.

So whether it is my technical side or my spiritual side: learning, growing and sharing what I’ve learned – that is the perfect day.

Random Quote:

Tonight I lifted my hands and worshiped the moon for no reason other than it was there. Some things are that simple and they should never, never be made complicated. - Christopher Poindexter
